XChat patches

This patch implements CHAP for XChat 2.1.1. If you use SOCKS with XChat, authentication credentials were sent in cleartext to your SOCKS server. This patch allows the use of CHAP as a secure authentication mechanism if your server supports it.

Please note that as with most other software on this site, it is distributed under the GPL, and is not compatible with the Windows >=2.4.0 shareware licence. You may wish to consider using an alternate IRC client, or try Silverex's free Windows builds.
